I’m adding a new segment called ‘Soul Ridiculous’ (very likely the name will change, but I like it nonetheless). I will post audio/videos/photos of silly and outrageous things. A few months back, I started watching Chelsea Handler on ‘Chelsea Lately’. Yeah, I’m a little behind. I remembered Chelsea from ‘Girls Behaving Badly’ and always found her hilarious since then. On her late night show, Chelsea Lately, Chelsea has interviewed people from Snoop Dogg to Tila “Tequila” Nguyen. What I love about Chelsea is how she speaks her mind, talks shit and straight CLOWNS her own guests. In the video above, Chelsea’s victim is her friend/actress Leah Remini. Funny shit. Watch the whole video!
Because this song been stuck in my head since work. Mya looks fly in this video. Beat is clean as hell. Jay’s verses are addictive.

‘Moving Mountains’ continues where ‘Love In The Club‘ ended. The video reminds me of the ‘War of the Worlds‘ movie with Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning. Although, I dig the cinematography. Something about this song/video I cannot get into. I wanna say the song is too damn dramatic, but everyone KNOWS I love the dramatic R&B ballads. Maybe this song will grow on me, but I’ve had the mp3 for quite a few months and was never feeling it. I’m sure radio will rape this track though. Usher’s album Here I Stand will be released next Tuesday.

Say whatever you want about the group, (most of) these guys can sing. I feel like a lot of the production on their album was mediocre, but their voices were on point. ‘Since U Been Gone‘ is one of my favorite tracks of Day 26’s self-titled debut album.

I forgot to post a video of my four year old neice singing and dancing to Danity Kane’s ‘Damaged” at the park last week. I just thought this shit was hella funny.
Wow, haven’t done this in a while! First off, I know Rihanna is not the best singer. She’s barely a decent singer. She looks like a little boy in this video. Stargate’s acoustic beats with the weak ass kick drum is PLAYED OUT. BUTTTTT the fact that Ne-Yo keeps writing these female empowerment songs is interesting to me… Despite everything negative I just mentioned, Rihanna has something about her that keeps people singing her songs. Could it be her whiny voice? For whatever reason, ‘Take A Bow‘ is my song of the day.
