Apparently so. This is trailer for ‘Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chun-Li.’ There hasn’t been a Street Fighter movie I really liked yet, so I doubt this would either BUT the sexy Kristin Kruek (from ‘Smallville’) is playing Chun-Li. Watch the video below.

Personally, I thought I was late (about 3 years ago) on learning who Talib Kweli is and what he and his music represented. That doesn’t matter because music is timeless and lately Kweli has been gaining quite some attention over the past few years. It’s dope to see a DOCUMENTARY on an MC who is actually alive and continually doing positive things for himself and his community. Check out the preview for the documentary below.

According to a bulletin on myspace from Tyrese, the singer/actor explains his decision to take a break from his 10+ years of the music biz to focus on his movie career. Some quotes of the bulletin are below:

Last night I saw the film, ‘The Pursuit Of Happiness’ for the first time. I’m aware Will Smith is a great actor and it was interesting to see his real son play his son in a movie, especially in such an emotional role. I’ve been hearing great things about the film since it first debuted in theaters a while back.
The film captured the emotion in the characters which made the roles very believable. My only problem was that at the end of the movie, I found myself wanting more. I felt like “that’s it…?” Things also seemed to move quite quickly. First he didn’t have rent, then he had to move to a hotel, then he’s homeless, now he’s gonna be rich! The details moved as swift as I had just explained them. Nonetheless, it was a pretty good movie. Perhaps all the hype had me with high expectations.

Today is the premiere of the ‘Iron Man‘ movie. Never really been into the comic books or anything. Seems like a funny/interesting movie. I may check out the movie with my homeboy tonight. If you see it, let me know if you like the movie or not. Watch the movie trailer HERE.
