It’s obvious right now that R&B music is quite boring, even in the music videos. Fortunately, two very beautiful women are releasing new videos soon. Amerie and Chrisette Michele both have a different style of flyness whether it be what they’re wearing or what they’re singing about. Check out the behind the scenes of Chrisette Michele’s “Fragile” featuring Wale and Amerie’s “Heard Em All “.
UPDATE!
You can now watch Amerie’s video in FULL here.

Song: “Sweet Dreams”
Album: “I Am… Sasha Fierce”
Beyonce is back with ANOTHER music video. She doesn’t ever stop. This is one of my favorite tracks off the album, although I first heard the song nearly a year before the album came out when the track was titled “Beautiful Nightmare”on Concreteloop. The video is definitely… different. Not in a bad way though.
Song: “Best I Ever Had”
Artist: Drake
from “So Far Gone” mixtape
If you haven’t seen Drake’s latest video by now, you are late ass hell. But that’s fine. So, many people DESPISED the video and called it this and that and whatnot. First of all, Kanye West directed it, so if you feel that strongly send your hate mail via his blog. Some are saying that Kanye intentionally made the video that way it is to “sabotoge” Drake’s carreer and I can’t say I agree with that but it did pass my mind that this was a HUGE track provided with a very lackluster video. Although the video isn’t romantic or cute and sweet, it’s not THAT terrible. It was pretty funny during the dialouge scenes. As for exploitation of women, almost EVERY fuckin rap AND R&B video out now have half dressed women grinding. Why not playing basketball–then losing? HAHA!

Song: ‘Kinda Like A Big Deal’
Artist: The Clipse ft. Kanye West
The Clipse have got to be my favorite hip hop duo since Outkast. If I don’t love their shit, I ate least like it. What’s interesting about this video in the angles the director used as well as the colors. Something different. Also love the fact that we got Kanye back WITHOUT autotune!

Not really feelin the video. Lady Gaga ain’t doing anything special for me either. Still enjoy the track though! “Lookin at, lookin at-look at me!” Haha. I enjoy the feel-good tracks.

Y’all already KNOW Trey is the best male R&B act out now. Dude is versatile, raw and STILL hungry years after being signed. Trey stays dedicated and is not slowing down. I notice many of you searching for Trey often on my blog and for those still asking, ‘Ready’ will be released August 4th! Listen to some new tracks by Trey below.

R&B singer Tank returns the love Drake shows on his verse to the hottest mixtape single ‘Best I Ever Had’. Tank KILLS his verse. He saang and I love the ad libs. Y’all know there’s millions of remixes to this song and I wouldn’t have posted this if I didn’t feel it was worth the time to check it out.
LISTEN to Drake ft. Tank – ‘Best I Ever Had (Remix)’
Artist: Kanye West
Song: “Paranoid”
Rihanna lookin real sexy. Especially in the lingerie when she turns to the side. Ha I’m not a pervert, she shouldn’t have taken those photos.
UPDATE: The video has been removed. Kanye West posted on his blog his frustration with the leak of the video because the leaked version was incomplete and not the final version Kanye wanted the world to see.
RE-UPDATE: Here is the final version of the video. Honestly, nothing too different. I like the ‘Sin City’ vibe though.

Artist: Oceans Crew ft. Bow Wow
Song: ‘So Much Swagg’
Usually people complain about singing rapper, but Trey & Johnta switchin it up by being rapping singers haha. Not mad at them at all though. Honestly, can’t deny Usher’s lack of appearances even though he is a part of the Ocean’s crew. It’ll be interesting to see that many male R&B singers on his hop influenced tracks. This is not one of my favorite tracks from them, but I am still excited to hear their upcoming mixtape.

Once again, your boy Trey Songz is KILLIN IT and released two new songs via his myspace. The first song is a remix to his current single ‘I Need A Remix’ which turns into another track ‘Upstairs’. Straight up grown/sexy music. I dig it. Lastly is Trey’s take on Jeremiah’s Birthday Sex which Trey remixed and retitled ‘First Date Sex’. Always honest and hilarious, Trey does what he always does and doesn’t disappoint. Don’t forget Trey’s new album ‘Ready’ will be out August 4th.
