This past weekend, some friends and family gathered in the bay to later head towards Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. Of course there were party poopers and indecisiveness but as usual positivity prevailed and we had us a good o’l’ time. Well. I sure did. Check out the photos below.

Cambodian New Years 2009

Mid-April is Cambodian New Years and this year I spent time with family at the temple, drinking heavily and spending too many money on overpriced food at the booths. There was even a band that I enjoyed. One thing I did not enjoy was the Cambodian remix to Flo-Rida & T-Pain’s ‘Low’. Below are some photos I took that week. Continue reading for more.

Online Portfolio?

rainyday

I’m not sure what business I have making an online portfolio since I’m barely getting into this photography game but I wanted a place to display some of my current favorite shots I’ve taken. My Canon G9 is helping me to take better photos with the advantages of all the additional effects that I have barely edited (or even re-size) photos ever since the camera purchase! Hopefully in time I can become a better photographer and build a real portfolio. If you have time, please check out my online portfolio via carbonmade.com

P.S. Isn’t it just WONDERFUL that my city (Stockton, California) is listed as one of America’s most miserable cities? I’m not surprised… Thanks Cam for the link.

Favorite Photos of ‘08

Last year was a very interesting year. Though I had a few bad experiences, 2008 was a mainly successful year for me. I turned 21, got to walk at graduation and finally got my driver’s lisence. Let’s look back with a few of my favorite photos that either I took or was in. (Honestly, I kinda just handpicked what was on my hard drive and this is what I came up with, ha!)

My #1 favorite photo of ‘08:

geetdoowwn

On my 21st birthday, I went out clubbing with some of my favorite people. This photo depicts me well and shows that I’m always having fun–anywhere & everywhere. Yes, that means dancing while sitting down. One of my specialties, actually. KEEP READING….

This Thanksgiving was definitely… different. Not everyone was able to show up and enjoy ourselves together, because people had other obligations and such. It was slightly awkward, but I love being around family ’cause we (almost) always have fun. That’s the kinda energy we have. Here are some photos from Thanksgiving weekend. All but the horribly off-centered photo I’m in below were taken by me.
